At Unchained Capital, our mission is to put every bitcoin holder securely in control of their assets. Our collaborative custody vaults make it easy to set up and manage multisig bitcoin storage, while providing a foundation to financial services for the long-term bitcoin holder, including trading, loans, and retirement accounts. We guide our clients through their bitcoin journey, equipping them with the knowledge, reassurance, and tools they need to secure their financial futures in ways that a traditional financial services institution cannot.                                                    

Your role

You’ll rule our CRM, HubSpot, with an iron fist, ensuring that at all times it’s a well-oiled machine that enhances the efficiency of our Marketing, Client Solutions, and Client Services teams. HubSpot is at the nexus of our sales, marketing, and support efforts—your work will make a material difference to our ability to get bitcoin keys into more hands.

 This is primarily a marketing role, but you’ll be working closely with virtually all of our departments to deliver on duties that include:

  • Specify and implement best-practice CRM processes within HubSpot.
  • Build and manage workflows that automate marketing and sales activity.
  • Optimize marketing and sales funnels.
  • Build systems for performance tracking and attribution.
  • Construct dashboards and reports.
  • Train the team in HubSpot best practices.
  • Implement and enforce our data privacy and security policies.

 Generally, we’ll expect you to advocate for the use of HubSpot to solve business problems and surface new revenue opportunities.

About you

You have 1+ years of hands-on HubSpot administration experience, either in a sales or marketing capacity. Ideally, you’ve worked in a technology or fintech startup.

 You combine a strong organizational mindset with entrepreneurial creativity—you’ll be enforcing order over our CRM data while also helping construct email campaigns that engage and delight.

 You have a nose for data cleanup and feel a deep urge to correct any inconsistencies you spot in a database. You love automation and cringe at manual repetitive tasks.

 You take pride and ownership in your work and are confident with gently-but-firmly correcting colleagues at all levels of the organization for HubSpot misdemeanors. You take the initiative to provide training where necessary.

 You own some bitcoin and hold your own keys. You’ve been to a bitcoin meetup or conference and plan to go to more. You can explain to someone the value proposition of bitcoin at a basic level. You understand Unchained’s brand and the value of our platform.

 What you can expect in your first year

  • First month: Get to know the various teams and learn how they’re using HubSpot. Complete an audit of HubSpot contact data and clean up contact properties. Identify priorities for small changes and big wins.
  • Next three months: Produce a cross-department user guide for HubSpot agents. Run your first training sessions. Work with the Marketing team to audit marketing campaigns and identify priorities for funnel optimization. Deploy performance tracking a new campaign.
  • Next eight months: Work with the Data team to develop a HubSpot dashboard. Work with the Client Solutions team to audit sales workflows and identify priorities for optimization. Expand on workflow and funnel optimization. Develop strategies for cross-selling and up-selling existing clients. Drive forward self-defined priorities to assist with Unchained’s goals. Establish regular cross-department HubSpot reviews to ensure alignment.

  • Experience working in the bitcoin industry
  • Based in Austin, Texas, or willing to move
