Associate, Regulatory Compliance

As an associate in Unchained Capital’s Regulatory Compliance team, you will work cross-functionally with our Client Services, Operations, and Compliance teams to help ensure timely and compliant processes spanning our business. Reporting to the Director of Regulatory Compliance, you will support our day-to-day regulatory compliance program, including lending and servicing compliance (TILA, ECOA, state lending regulations), UDAAP, Reg E, Complaints, and other Regulatory Compliance topics.

You will:

● Support the identification of compliance risk through the risk assessment process

● Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to follow-up on compliance issues

● Help develop corrective action plans for resolution of any identified issues

● Assist in the interpretation of state and federal laws, regulations, and policies

● Work with leadership to draft responses to state and federal agency inquiries and

complaints

● Draft compliance requirements for new products and services

● Perform regulatory compliance testing in key areas

● Determine company progress in completing compliance training programs, including

appropriate introductory training for new employees as well as ongoing training

● Provide reports to senior management regarding the operation and progress of

compliance efforts

Qualifications

You have:

● 3+ years experience in regulatory compliance with a financial services company

● Relevant industry certifications (e.g. CRCM, CFE)

● Understanding of the financial services regulatory environment, especially in lending and

servicing compliance and consumer compliance programs

● Familiarity with TILA, ECOA, EFTA, UDAAP, Reg E, and Complaints

● Comfort working with the Google Suite and of products and Microsoft Office

● Experience with CRM or ticketing systems such as Zendesk, Hubspot, or Jira

● Knowledge of Bitcoin Wallets and transactions, with a demonstrated passion and

commitment to learning more

● Experience with GRC tools such as Archer, Resolver, or SAI
