Global video gaming and interactive media is a $100bn revenue industry growing at 10%+ per annum, driven by microtransactions. ZEBEDEE allows new types of monetisation models for both game developers and gamers. We are not just another payment service provider. We are building the infrastructure that will enable new types of behaviours and activities in gaming environments using Bitcoin as the payment rail.

The Role:

You will be responsible for user acquisition strategy & tactics at ZEBEDEE, in charge of driving sustainable growth in our base of both customers (gamers/players) and partners (game developers/studios). You will report into, and work closely with, the Marketing Director to ensure consistent alignment across other marketing touchpoints and channels.

In addition, the Senior Growth Marketer will be:

  • Increasing trial, use, and recommendation of ZEBEDEE-powered games, products, and services among both B2C and B2B audiences
  • Expanding awareness of the value of ZEBEDEE tools and APIs among relevant game developers and studios, helping to entice and onboard them into active experimentation
  • Identifying opportunity areas and corresponding strategies for bridging gaps through the entire marketing funnel, from awareness & acquisition through to retention & ultimately referral (i.e. loyalty loop)
  • Setting measurable goals and growth targets, and generating a regular cadence of data & analytics reports to track progress, forecast results, and evaluate effectiveness
  • Optimizing CTR and conversion for specific product launches by leveraging paid and organic media channels, and experimenting with testable hypotheses and creative variations
  • Managing key relationships with partners, data providers, and other vendors in order to deliver on established goals and priorities
  • Collaborating with the rest of the marketing team to help activate and engage the audiences and communities of newly-activated ZEBEDEE-powered games

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of direct experience in the field of growth or performance marketing
  • Highly analytical thinker, with extensive experience interpreting data to inform creative and strategic decision-making and validating ideas prior to execution
  • Proven track record of effective planning, timely execution, and delivering measurable results against company goals
  • Prior experience managing multiple vendors and partners; comfort with delegating and providing direction to multiple stakeholders and managing expectations
  • Data-driven, accountable, and highly motivated, with a team-player attitude
  • Excellent language, copywriting and interpersonal skills

Preferred/Nice to have:

  • In-depth knowledge of crypto and gaming strongly preferred, having particular familiarity with Bitcoin and its layer-2 (Lightning Network) value propositions
  • Experience with in-depth statistical modeling and growth projection reports
  • Expertise in social media tactics and influencer outreach/partnerships

Decentralized / Remote Work Environment

ZEBEDEE is a fully remote working company. However, for this role, we are looking for a candidate in EU or USA time zones.
