About the role

The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience in procuring, provisioning, building, securing, managing, and supporting desktop, laptop, and mobile devices for a remote workforce dealing with valuable digital assets. As a passionate Corporate IT Engineer that understands the importance of providing high-quality service to stakeholders, you will be an effective organizer and administrator.

You will be responsible for managing the relationships with Corporate IT suppliers ensuring that devices are ordered, built to specification, and delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner and any issues relating to devices are dealt with as effectively as possible.

You should be prepared to own and sustain the systems that you will create and you will be responsible for handing over your knowledge and expertise to your team as you progress and ultimately expand your role to take on new challenges.

Domain expertise

Your career will have given you experience in:

  • Managing the end lifecycle of corporate devices from working with business owners to define the specification of devices to procurement, build, delivery, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Designing corporate device images (with support from suppliers) to ensure and consistent level of management capability, security, and data protection across all enterprise devices.
  • Integration of corporate devices with the corporate identity provider, password manager, authenticators, and other ancillary systems to avoid manual effort and error in the enforcement of the Corporate IT security posture.
  • Macs and OSX Operating systems and the ability to diagnose hardware and software issues with Apple devises
  • User management, securing and troubleshooting email, Antivirus, backup procedures, and other aspects of Corporate IT.
  • Working with remote teams.
  • Bootstrapping startups and or new teams.
  • Previous experience of working with JAMF and TRAMS (or equivalent)


You will be responsible for:

  • Resolving internal customer tickets about corporate devices.
  • Centrally managed automated upgrades desktop/laptop devices.
  • Participate in office build-outs/ relocations ensuring minimal disruption to corporate IT.
  • Collaborate with vendors and Cloud Engineering teams to resolve technical problems.
  • Facilitate purchasing of approved hardware, software, and other technologies.
  • Participate in scheduled off-hour operations, weekend work, and on-call rotation shifts.
  • Provide telephone system support and assistance.
  • Train internal customers on hardware and software.
  • Manage deployment (Windows & OSX), installations, configurations, and operation of desktop computers and software.

Technology Stack

Experience in integrating Corporate IT devices with Cloud services for identification, authentication, and authorisation would be valuable

  • MacBook Pro OSX laptops
  • Linux, Windows virtual machines

Base salary depending on experience + strong competitive bonus + equity.
