Account Manager - Whales

Our Bitcoin events serve as the de facto gathering place to connect, collaborate, educate, and celebrate the powerful world Bitcoin enables. Serving our community through these conferences while bridging the mainstream to the Bitcoin culture is critical to our mission. As the global leader in Bitcoin conferences, we serve many stakeholders across the broad Bitcoin and finance community. We seek an experienced Account Manager to join our white glove concierge team, focusing solely on serving our VIP clientele.

As an Account Manager, your primary focus will be executing and managing the sponsorship relationships and contracts for Bitcoin 2022 explicitly related to our Whale Package clients. When our sales team partners with a company or individual, you will own the relationship and ensure their expectations are met. You will be responsible for client success and available at all times leading up to the event -- willing to adapt to their needs in various ways and uncovering needs they may have before they arise. Success will depend on building and fostering these relationships while identifying opportunities for our clients.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a passionate Bitcoiner who brings high energy to our team. It’ll be someone who loves working with customers and not only solving problems once they arise but uncovering potential problems and resolving them before they happen. They will have experience working with higher-end clients and institutions in account management or SDR functions. 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage and track Whale Pass holders from start to finish
  • Communicate with Whale Pass holders regarding all facets of the Whale Pass experience, providing information regarding Whale events, after-parties, attractions, shopping, nightlife, or recreational opportunities
  • Facilitate meetings and relationships between Whale Pass holders, companies, and investors
  • Manage all operations, logistics, and vendors of service offerings afforded to Whale Pass holders
  • Manage relationships with exclusive Whale Pass hotels and transportation
  • Work to solve problems and provide opportunities by uncovering needs and solutions before they arise
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism when communicating to VIP clientele

What You Will Bring To The Team

  • High energy, engaging personality which is eager to be ‘on the ball’ to respond to clients in real-time
  • A problem-solver who is relentless in ensuring customer satisfaction. If you don’t have the answer, you will not stop getting it until your client is happy.
  • 3-5 years of experience in customer service or customer success position
  • Experience working with brand image and promoting value through customer experience
  • Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships
  • Technical skills required as they relate for the use of the product to service to be solid accountability and personal organization is essential.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized - All meetings recorded in CRM for company visibility. 
  • Ability to establish milestones and keep all team members on the same page
  • Deep understanding of customers concerns and thoughts regarding the use of products and the ability to troubleshoot as needed
