Job Description: Mobile & Web Lead Engineer and Programmer - Bitcoin Lightning Network Integration

Position: Mobile & Web Programmer (Bitcoin Lightning Network Specialist)

Location: New York City or Stamford CT

Salary: Negotiable, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

Development & Design:

• Proficient in Rust, Swift, and other relevant coding languages.
• Design, develop, and maintain a mobile application and web-based tool to integrate payments and customer rewards systems.
• Implement secure and compliant payment gateways that connect to the Bitcoin Lightning Network.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience.

Bitcoin & Lightning Network Integration:

• Integrate Bitcoin Core and Lightning Network functionalities into the application.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in the Bitcoin ecosystem to ensure our platform remains cutting-edge.
• Work closely with compliance teams to ensure all Bitcoin-related functionalities adhere to state-specific cannabis laws.

Cross-Collaboration:

• Work in tandem with the seed-to-sale and delivery compliance teams to streamline and integrate processes.
• Liaise with other development teams to ensure consistent application performance across platforms.
• Provide technical support and training to internal teams as needed.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Report directly to the founder, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Document all codebase changes, feature integrations, and developmental processes for future reference.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
2. Proven experience in mobile application development (iOS & Swift), Rust, and web-based development.
3. Extensive knowledge of the Bitcoin Core and Bitcoin Lightning Network.
4. Familiarity with state-specific cannabis compliance regulations.
5. Strong proficiency in a variety of programming languages relevant to mobile and web development.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
7. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
