We're on the lookout for a Technical Project Manager to join our mission to empower communities everywhere with Fedimint. We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team as a Technical Project Manager at Fedi.

Your primary responsibility will be working in an Agile manner to break down priority projects into actionable specifications, designs, plans for delivery with the engineering and rollout teams, playing a crucial part in bringing our product to market. 

You will need a deep understanding of the Bitcoin ecosystem, coupled with exceptional communication and project management skills. We respect proof of work and will always be looking for individuals who can demonstrate this. 

Responsibilities

• Work in an Agile manner to break down complex tasks and manage work consistently across multiple projects and stakeholder groups. 
• Ensure delivery of prioritised product vision across selected product lines.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, product and communities teams to define project objectives, scope, deliverables and resource assignments..
• Manage day to day delivery of key tasks, tracking and reporting on progress and the management of dependencies across multiple project lines ensuring focus on key milestones. 
• Manage risk and mitigation strategies across the project portfolio. 
• Ensure that project deliverables meet the established quality standards to tight timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Technical Project Manager, preferably in a remote or distributed team environment.
• Demonstrate experience and ability to reason through difficult issues and bring the team together to resolve conflicting preferences or priorities
• Strong technical background and understanding of software development processes, methodologies and the trade offs of different approaches..
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Github, Trello, etc) and collaboration platforms.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects through the entire lifecycle.
• Ability to pick up and lead projects mid-cycle.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Plus Points:

• Previous experience working in a startup environment.
• You are familiar with and have a professional understanding of bitcoin nodes, wallets, Lightning Network and Fedimint.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is highly desirable.
